    a good day

    up with the sun
    chores got done

    time for me.
    a decorating purchase
    some snacks and a purpose.
    pulled weeds for two hours,
    then planted some flowers.

    clean yard and apartment
    showered and content.
walked the dog into a sunset
laid down , happy and spent.

a day like any other, only just, me and
    no bother.
free from my physical problems , (mostly) .
most will never know how it feels to feel "normal",
or to appreciate the blessing of normalcy.
    "normal" is well, normal.
and if you don't know otherwise, there is no comparing

today I was blessed in that I savored every minute of
rare normalcy, I thanked the higher powers for every balanced, unshakeable
step I took, I thanked for the energy and joy that I was allowed , I thanked
for the ability to see and be grateful for every moment.

    I am doubly blessed

how many of you can say that about your Sunday?
    There is always today.
    or tomorrow....
sometimes we get a second chance.... don't miss yours.
