Re: Balance problems
Diana, my mother had the exact same thing, no tremours but much balance and the "running" problem, had four falls before i could get her to a movement disorder specialist and get the sinimet. but after the sinimet, her balance and the running problem have improved tremendously, of course its only been a couple of months but no more falls. I am taking her to have an MRI done next week just to be on the safe side, i told the movement disorder specialist that I wanted one since she has virtually no tremours i just want to be sure there is nothing else going on. did you have an MRI? i think it is a good idea because i have read that there other things that take on the parkinsons like symptoms so i just want to be sure. after you started the medicine, did the problem get any better at all? paula ----- Original Message ----- From: "Diana Sellin" <Sellini4@xxxxxxx> To: <PARKINSN@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, April 21, 2002 11:28 PM Subject: Balance problems > Hello frieinds: > My name is Diana and I've only been on this list about a month.
