Re: Balance problems


Diana, my mother had the exact same thing, no tremours but much balance and
the "running" problem, had four falls before i could get her to a movement
disorder specialist and get the sinimet.  but after the sinimet, her balance
and the running problem have improved tremendously, of course its only been
a couple of months but no more falls.  I am taking her to have an MRI done
next week just to be on the safe side, i told the movement disorder
specialist that I wanted one since she has virtually no tremours i just want
to be sure there is nothing else going on.  did you have an MRI?  i think it
is a good idea because  i have read that there other things that take on the
parkinsons like symptoms so i just want to be sure.  after you started the
medicine, did the problem get any better at all?    paula
