Re: Reuters: Creative mind shares traits with mentally ill

Janet and List,
Many years ago, I heard in the advertising/graphic arts community that
people were at their peak of creativity just before a mental breakdown. At
the time, I thought a major factor was fatigue from marathon work
sessions. It caused a tunnel vision that forced a concentration of focus
on minds that normally would be all over the place. The link to bi-polar
symptoms makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the insight, Geo.

hi all

watch out
for the stigma-bred skin-crawling
and almost automatic reaction to the words "mentally ill" -
which we have associated with "insanity" and "losing one's mind"

nothing gets lost
it's all in the bio-neuro-chemical soup mix

any chefs out there?

and yikes
echoes of "perceptions" and "visors"!
