Hi, Scott: The connection between teeth grinding and carbidopa one I had not
heard of --nor did my neurologist suggest a connection when I had similar
complaints. I and several others on this list have had problems with both
teeth grinding and involuntary, sudden snapping shut of upper and lower
teeth, often resulting in painful bites of tongue or cheek. These can be
forceful enough to crack teeth and caps, and the expense is horrendousl
Diagnosis and solutions have certainly been elusive. I've been using a
specially molded nightguard made by my dentist and just got baclofen to try.
I also suspect rigidity and response to pain contribute to this reaction.

Re dopamine in ER: THanks to those who responded with info. Curious how the
drug may lower blood pressure in PWP, yet is a stimulant for others.

Cheers.
AW
