Vmetra, I don't view genetics, stem cell research, with suspicion.  Believe
medical science is our best hope, but am cautious and questioning everything..

As far as I know, faith based healing has not produced cures for the really
tough diseases. If there are any Christian Scientists on the List let me
know.  My best friend is one, very healthy, but does go to the Dr now that
she is aging and always signs email petitions for stem cell research, our
best supporter.

I have studied Religious Science or 'Science of Mind' and it should  work,
but another friend and follower of Ernest Holmes, very spiritual person,
believed her melanoma was gone, but she died a year and a half ago.

I survived ovarian cancer over  20 yrs ago, lots of people at school prayed
for me???? My mom thinks it is because they got the cancer in time.  Everyone
had his own theory.  I don't know, but it is clear I ain't gettin' any better
with PD>
