overcoming depression

  Agnes---I know exactly what you are going thru.  Six months after I was 
diagnosed with PD, I really "hit bottom".  I had terrible episodes of 
overwhelming anxiety alternating with depression.  My Dr. {a motion specialist} 
was extremely understanding, explained that anxiety and depression accompany 
the PD and he put me on Zoloft.   As far as I am concerned it has done more for 
me than the specific PD drugs and I take it religiously.  I did NOT want to 
"admit defeat" and take a drug for depression but it is cheaper that the trip I 
made to the ER in a full-blown anxiety attack.                                  
                  So my advice would be to talk to your Dr. and perhaps he can 
recommend something.   Good luck and keep us posted.    Cathy
