Fellow listers:
Do you remember when doctors made house calls?  Or did you know that doctors
wrote off hundreds and hundreds of dollars each year owed by people that
could not pay?  I remember when you didn't wait three to six months to see a
doctor who today insists on keeping bankers hours.  Yes, the care is better,
life expectancy is longer  but costs are out of sight.  My husband's recent
total knee replacement cost over $50,000. and a week in the hospital for me
last January total over $30,000.  no surgery involved!  Be careful folks what
you ask for -  you just might get it.  I really do appreciate your comments.
Keep them coming.  All sides of this should be considered.
