Very interesting, Glenna.  Music and rhythm do seem to have a powerful
influence (and not just on PWPs).  The brain is a strange and wonderful

benefits of drumming.  Physicians are finding that Alzheimer's patients who
drum can connect better with loved ones, and researchers have discovered
that hearing slow, steady rhythms, such as drumbeats, helps Parkinson's
