Re: Raylilyn's idea/help

They say timing is everything.......back then who knew or who cared about
PD, Alzheimers, and other diseases or stem cells or MRIs, PET scans or any
of this.....now just about everybody knows about them and can even explain
the stem cell process .... and just about everyone has an opinion and it's
also one of today's HOT TOPICS reaching all the way to the last
Presidential election...as we needed to know where Bush and Gore stood on
that issue.....
It's another time, more things are out in the open today and more people
want the knowledge that's available....we used to do exactly what the
doctors told us to do...now, we research what we can and question the doctor
as to what he's doing for us................so I believe the timing is
appropriate for RIGHT NOW, TODAY to get it on TV....and I think Donahue with
his advocacy track record is the one to do it...and he does get your
attention.....I'm not sure Montell would do it because of his MS, he might
wonder if the public would think he did the story for his own personal
reasons/gain, I'm not sure...but whoever you approach we have to remember
when writing the letter, their staff will not take time to read a whole
document to see if it's viable so the first couple of paragraphs must
have words and statements or an outline that hits them between the eyes and
grabs their full attention.... the hook or whatever that says "we gotta
do this story".... Joan Hartman
