Television and Parkinson's

I find it interesting that another television series has made use of PD
in one of its shows - Law and Order: SVU.  Although it did say something,
it was not done very tastefully.  I am impressed with the ER actor who
plays a doctor with Parkinson's.  I would like to know how he came to
mimic the disease so well with his acting.
