Hi, my name is Roberta and I've recently joined the network. I'm 52 and have
seen three neuros since May all coming up with the same diagnosis - PD. I've
tried 3 different meds, one of them twice. They didn't help and only made me
sick. I have an appointment in February at Robert Wood Johnson (NJ) to see a
movement disorder specialist. I found this site reading the book "When
Parkinson's Strikes Early". Has anyone heard of Fava Beans? They are
supposed to contain levadopa and from what I've read, as little as one-half
cup a day or every other day has helped people with thier symptoms. I'm
looking forward to a rewarding experience with the network.
