Hi Shel
I make thumbsticks, because I like using one for support, and you look
like a hiker when you're using it, rather than a cripple!

You know the sort of thing, don't you? 4 or 5 feet tall, with a fork at
the top to rest your thumb in. I sell them in a market, and give all the
profits to the Parkinson's Disease Society of the UK. Mind you, more
than one person has said "Thumbstick? What's a thumbstick? ... and when
I explain, they will often say, "Oh, I thought those were for catching
snakes! (for SNAKE OIL, of course!)
