You might want to expand on the social impact of chronic disease ..... dating/marriage employment/disability insurance eligibility/vs non-eligible family support role reversal carepartner/provider medication costs surgery......trial vs. insurance paid vs. out of pocket finding a physician who cares driving independent living vs. multi-generational crisis management spiral of emotional dealing with disease/loss financial impact self/society political impact all of these things happen besides the symptoms of PD.....and happen with more than one illnesss......the NOT ME attitude that we all had. What if the life you had planned were cut short.....and you survived? Coping. Rita Weeks PS Hope they give you two semesters to hold this discussion!!!!
