My husband adjusted my keyboard sensitivity this way:  in Windows 95,

Double click My Computer;
Double click Control Panel
Double click Accessibility Options
Adjust the pressure meter to allow for more/longer pressure without
creating the pesky aaaaaaaaa's. That's my bad finger.  Hope this helps.
If you don't use Windows 95, there is still a way to adjust it through a
program that handles that sort of problem.
