Re: coping with retirement
Good for you, Mary, you are retired from work, but not retired from life! I honestly think the work week is too long, and retirement age is too late, what about a 4 day 28 hour work week, and retirement at 50 voluntary, and 55 mandatory? (only half kidding, remember reading about 6 or 7 day work weeks and 16 hour days in the early days of this century????That was worse than slavery!) Oh yes, the government would have to make sure that our paychecks would remain the same for the shorter work weeks! ( Many good ideas start as jokes!) Kenbecker@xxxxxxx
