Re: Sv: Re: Calf pain

Nancy, it sounds like a great opportunity, for Don and for Nigeria! Back to
the subject of magnetism: I assume that the magnetic field on earth is stroger
at the North and South Poles? If so, are people who live closer to the poles
healthier than those closer to the equater? I know there is a lot of
controversy about people who live near high tension overhead power lines
having more cancer. Those lines carry A.C., (alternating current) which
create a magnetic field, but it is constantly changing , typically 60 times a
second, from one direction to the other. I wonder if they still used D.C.
(direct current) lines as they did about 100 years ago, which would create a
magnetic field that is constant, if it would improve the health of people in
the immediate area? The use of D.C. became impractical, because D.C. can not
be modified with transformers, needed to raise the voltage, and reduce the
current, allowing the use of longer, thinner lines for transmitting power
over distances.
Maybe someday we will all walk around with electomagnets and battery packs to
energize them. It may sound far fetched, but think about pacemakers for the
heart, and the stimulation devices for PD. KenBecker@xxxxxxx
