It's what a catastrophile does. ;-) Seriously, though, it can be scary to feel the start of a new symptom, such as slight difficulty breathing. And imagination inspired by anxiety can go to extremes (picturing oneself in a respirator). It's the opposite of denial, which is what I do. (What, me shaking? Doesn't everybody?)
