But can the other diseases give the same financial return on the investment?

Most likely not.

That is our argument.  The rest is gravy.  Find me any other situation
where   you can invest $2 for three years and then get a stream of $100 per
year as a payout for years to come, and investors will stream to it.

That's right.  Fund the Mo, save the money, and use it to buy aircraft

now in other economic benefits.
