My husband has fallen out of bed three times.  One  time he was dreaming he
was tackling someone and took a flying leap out into space!  Fortunately, he
has not had any serious injuries but he is now sleeping on the floor.  He
likes it also, because with his spinal stenosis the firm floor (with a foam
pad) makes his back feel better.

His neurologist has prescribed .05 mg. of Clonazepam to help him sleep with
less agitation, jerking, violent dreams, etc.  It is working.
