Attachments, HTML code, long lines...
Hi All, I think the problem with attachments being inadvertently sent to the List stems from MS Internet Mail or MS Exchange and it's inherent RTF (Rich Text Format) which it uses to send formatting to others who have the same program. Please see that your e-mail is text only and does not have the RTF box checked. Netscape offers a service called Inbox Direct that sends messages in HTML code. Some people may unknowingly use this feature to submit messages that are best read with a web browser. Again, please try to send only plain text ASCII files. Still others do not bother to configure their e-mail to a limit of 76 characters per line. Thus the messages that are one long line. If senders are concerned with recipients being able to easily read the contents of their messages then please send plain text, word wrapped to 76 characters per line. Thanks all and all the best......Murray Murray_Charters@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
