Re: Can too much Sinemet cause heart attack?
What is RLS? -----Original Message----- From: Carol Horner <CTH-1@xxxxxxxxx> To: Multiple recipients of list PARKINSN <PARKINSN@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tuesday, August 04, 1998 12:37 AM Subject: Can too much Sinemet cause heart attack? Coleen asked this. My husband has been taking increasing amounts of Sinemet for 23 years--2000 mg a day for at least four years. No heart problems. It was my understanding that quinine was effective against RLS, but also that it was no longer available for that use in the U.S. I read this in a doctor's column in the newspaper about two years ago. Mirapex has been reported by several list members to keep RLS at bay. (Even a very small dose may work.) Carol Horner
