Your US Rep. is generally best, but if one of your senators   is up for
reelection,   call him/her as well    - ESPECIALLY if it is Sen. Alfonse
D'mato from Mississippi or Alabama or one of those states.  You'll probably
end up in one of his TV ads.

 The sens. do have some clout, but have to be motivated - up for reelection.
i wrote one of  mine, who was running again, about a military matter yrs ago
 he got good action
