While talking to my mother Joyce (69/1) tonight, she mentioned that she was having trouble speaking. Her voice has been bad for awhile, very slurred and tired sounding -- also extremely weak. Her voice breaks a lot when she talks, as well. When I asked her to describe the problem she said that it was such an effort to speak. Is this something others feel? Is it a terrible effort? (Of course the new drug mix isn't working as well as we had all hoped. She's getting the brain fog from, she thinks, the Permax.) Thanks. Debbie White dwhite@xxxxxxxxxxxx
