Re: NIH appropriations up by $2 billion for 1999
Appreciate your postings .They were well put. Perhaps my posting on funding wasn't posted. I called Congressman Uptons office yesterday and talked to Jane Williams, who has always been so helpful. As I gathered they are still discussing funding for Parkinsons and that the final version will probably be some place between the Senate and House bills. They are hoping that it will contain strong language for Parkinsons. The vote will possibly take place Tuesday or, hopefully, Wedesday at the latest. She is going to try and call me when it is voted upon. If I hear anything further I'll post it. Lorraine Jeffe
