Hi Leta....

As of late last nite (in Los Angeles where I live) <OR early this
morning in Maine, where Ivan lives....> (smile), Ivan hadn't found
anyone amongst his friends with the technical skills needed to step
him thru a fix for his puter system.

However, Ivan told me his H.Packard PC is covered under a factory
warranty of some kind (prolly  a hardware or factory-installed
software only, tho) <-- my guess>.  I suggested he call Microsoft
(shuddering) Windows tech support 'cause his operating system's
Windows 95, and I KNOW Microsoft (Barb mentally pictures  B.  Gates
as a combination Darth Vader AND  Borg look-a-like!)  <grinning>
errrrr...digressing, sorry.... provides an excellent  phone-in tech
support for their Windows operating systems

Other than that, don't know if Ivan's got local tech support or other
phone-in support.   Sure hope so.....
