Re: NON PD - anti-depressant

Dear Hilary:

I have been on Zoloft for about six months. My doctor switched me from
Effexor to Zoloft to see if I would do better. I have. He said he has
several PD patients on Zoloft and that it is a very "safe" drug, with less
side effects than the others. It is supposedly good for PWP because it
increases the serotonin levels, which are affected by PD.

I also cut my Eldepryl back from 2 capsules to one just to be on the safe
side. Zoloft can react with Eldepryl but, according to my doctor, you would
have to be taking larger doses of Eldepryl.
