Re: NON PD - anti-depressant
Dear Hilary: I have been on Zoloft for about six months. My doctor switched me from Effexor to Zoloft to see if I would do better. I have. He said he has several PD patients on Zoloft and that it is a very "safe" drug, with less side effects than the others. It is supposedly good for PWP because it increases the serotonin levels, which are affected by PD. I also cut my Eldepryl back from 2 capsules to one just to be on the safe side. Zoloft can react with Eldepryl but, according to my doctor, you would have to be taking larger doses of Eldepryl. Rosemary Russell 51, 5 1/2 yrs. (Rruss12345@xxxxxxx)
