I don't know a lot about shaving for men anyway, but what if you were to
take him somewhere, like a barber, say once a week, or if there is
someone in the family that could do a good job, to get a really good
shave with the straight edge and have it be without cuts, then the rest
of the week shave with a razor like the Norelco? I admit that that would
be a compromise, but it was just an idea.
