Service Dogs and Parkinsons?

I have been a quadriplegic for the last 30 years. I subscribe to a list for
quads that is very similar to this list. My father has had Parkinson's
Disease for many years now. He is working on getting online. In the
meantime, I'm filling in for him!

I do have a question for all of you out there. About 2 weeks ago, my husband
saw something on TV (20/20, Prime Time Live, or another show of this nature)
that showed a service dog helping out a person with Parkinsons. On the
program it showed the dog "steadying" the person, thus preventing a fall - it
also showed the dog nudging the persons foot when they "froze", thus
initiating movement. Has anyone heard about these dogs? If so, do you know
where I can get further info on them?

Thanks in advance for any help!
