For what it is worth:

In the waiting room to see the neurologist(of course)...I just saw an
advertisement for
selegiline hydrochloride (Anipryl) for dogs...

See your local veterinarian!!! if you have and old and confused dog.

The small print gave a lot of info on its effects on dogs...after all...drugs
are first
tested on animals before human trials.  Toxicity studies, dosage, efficacy,
side effects
are all worked out on the animal model--state of the art medicine for dogs
runs
closely parallel to human medical advancement.

The ad was in Good Housekeeping, May 1999, pages 192-193.

I wonder if it costs as much as the drug for humans.
