Re: Another list? (fwd)
As a relatively new member I can see where the writer is coming from. It is a little intimidating because all of you are so very knowledgeable. On the other hand, I am so very, very grateful to have your knowledge available and shared so unselfishly. I think what is intimidating (for me) both here and on the caregiver list is the sense that everyone is coping so calmly and well. I haven't reached that point...yet. But constantly improve, thanks to you folks. I wonder if part of what the writer is feeling has to do with frequency of posting. It is natural for the folks who post frequently to develop more of an 'I belong" feeling, as they are having 2 way interactions more frequently and that is what it takes. Perhaps I'm assuming too much, but I just assume that when the day comes that I have problems/issues, etc. you folks will take me in and I will become one of the more frequent folks also. Anyway, if the writer would like someone to just write to and kick thought or feelings around with---I would enjoy that, so my e-mail is below. I too am one of the 'shy' ones, its hard to talk in a group and do much better 1-1 ..I guess that goes for cyber-talk as well as 'real life' talk. Meanwhile I count on the list for many other needs.
