Re: VA-long term care/home care
Sue, I'm a member pf VA Healthcare in Houston. The care here is quite good but they tell me that long-term nursing care is available only to veterans with a military-related disability. There seems to be no support at the moment for a correlation, so I have been denied. However, you might call the local "Eligibility"office, anyway. It costs nothing to check. Dad is enrolled in the NJ VA system, receiving his meds, I was wondering if I could get them some help at home through the VA. I also fear that he will end up in a nursing home and would like any info, or experiences anyone may have had. Thank-you. Sue, daughter of Rocky 75/ >>
