I see it is Father's Day in north America. The following is dedicated to all
those fathers who live now only in memory.

Now that the long last silence
has become eternal,
I hear his voice again,
the one recalled from childhood,
and listen, in wonder,
to the love contained
in words that spoke of nails,
and saws, and the shaping of wood;
of rivers, and of stars
