Baclofen Monograph
Hi friends, With the recent interest in baclofen I thought I might look up the monograph. Scroll down to..... "The efficy of baclofen in stroke, cerebral palsy, and Parkinson's disease has not been established and, therefore, it is not recommended for these conditions." Scroll further down to..... "Warnings: Tablets Abrupt Drug Withdrawal: Hallucinations and seizures have occurred on abrupt withdrawal of baclofen. Therefore, except for serious adverse reactions, the drug should be reduced slowly when the drug is discontinued." I'm not a dr. or a medical professional... I'm a mechanic, but..... If one of my family were on this med. I would recommend downloading and printing this monograph and discussing it with the prescribing doctor. Now I think I'll look up Symmetrel (Amantadine).... murray Murray_Charters@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
