hi all a list-member has asked me: >When you get time, would you tell me how you can move >an article from the NY times to the list, so completely. >Thank you i thought it might be helpful if i posted my answer to the list so i went back to the original news story as found at the new york times website my wwweb browser is netscape 3.01 my e-mail software is eudora lite 3.0 1. i started up netscape and browsed my way to the article i wanted 2. i e-mailed the file [using netscape mail] to myself as plain text [not html] 3. i shut down netscape and fired up eudora and checked for incoming mail 4. lo and behold i had received a message from myself 5. which i copied and pasted into a new outgoing message 6. which i neatened a tad 7. and which i then mailed to the PIEnet group and bcc: copied to me and to my questioner that's the way i do it others with other software and hardware and ideas probably [likely] would do it differently i am open to suggestions janet janet paterson 52 now / 41 dx / 37 onset snail-mail: PO Box 171 Almonte Ontario K0A 1A0 Canada website: a new voice <> e-mail: <janet313@xxxxxxxxxxx>
