Re: Switching from Mirapex to Permax.

Bill - I am taking both Mirapex and Permax. I was introduced to Permax first
(as a supplement to the Sinemet, and instead of an increase in Sinemet
dosage). I had been suffering from restless legs at night and the Permax was
very helpful. I titrated up to 1/2 a tablet 3 times a day.
About 18 months later, the leg problem rerturned and this time one Mirapex at
bedtime was added to the regimen.
3 months ago, when it looked like I needed more of something the dosage was
rearranged and currently I take:
Sinemet (25/100-1/2 tab) and Permax (.5 mg) together 4X/day
Mirapex (.25 mg) at bedtime
Eldepryl (5 mg) in A.M.
Everything looks good for now
