Re: Help for falling - aids
Joy, There are special protectors available in Australia. I actually saw a PWP yesterday in the Clinic with hip protectors. I will get more information for you at work tomorrow if I can. They are medical type supply -- not sports protectors. They spread the impact on the body when the person falls so that whilst bruising happens fractures are less likely, Mary Melbourne ----- Original Message ----- From: Bob & Joy Graham <bjgraham@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <PARKINSN@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, September 30, 1999 12:30 PM Subject: Re: Help for falling - aids > Dear List members, > > Many of our friends with PWP are falling - Bob included.
