Thank you, Michael, for all your passionate testimony.  I began crying when
you began speaking and continued through the Dr. Langston's words.  He did
say that he doesn't often get tears very often when he discusses research, I
guess I was just on a roll.

We had driven 6 hours to get there, I brought three PWP's, including my
husband, who has been dealing with this disease for 14 years, diagnosed at
46.  They were and  are very appreciative of your efforts and vulnerability
you had to feel being there. I met with Sen. Specter for just a minute
afterwards to thank him for his help and to have him continue with his
support, however, I'm not sure it helped.

You were so swamped by the press that we did not even want to bother you, but
will take this opportunity to once again thank you for your support.  We will
continue to call and e-mail our senators(BTW Specter is mine) to keep them on
their toes.
