Re: Blueberries
Note I didn't say anything negative about spinach, only that I volunteer for the berry fed group. In defense of Popeye's favorite food, I can eat spinach provided it is covered in a mayonnaise sauce and topped with sliced or crumbled hard boiled egg. This is how my mom always got us to eat the "good for you" vegetable. I didn't know until college dorm days that spinach can be eaten unadorned or only with what tasted like vinegar to me. I like brocolli steamed with cheese sauce or raw with dip. I guess the key word for my eating these greens is WITH. LOL, hey, watch what you say about spinach! I'm just the opposite -- I only mildly like blueberries (don't hate 'em though) but I love spinach. In fact, if there's ever a spinach and broccoli trial I should apply for that!
