Elderberries have not been proven to do anything except to excite the
taste buds of some individuals with or without PD.
Just as Elderstatesmen are more mature statesmen, elderberries are
simply more mature berries.  As elderberries ferment, the consuming
elderstatsmen like to foment too.
PS  This bit of trivia was retrieved from memory without recourse to any
