First thing is to get diagnosed
by a movement disorder specialist. If you haven't been diagnosed as having
PD then why are you taking sinemet? Work with your Dr. to find the
right med mix that's best for you. You don't have to treat yourself.
PD meds have all kinds of potential side effects. If you're not
careful you could easily run into serious problems. Been there, done
that, and I was under Drs. care. Can't imagine what would have
happened if I was treating myself. If you're having "wearing off"
dystonia, like I get, then you probably need more sinemet I take two
25/100 CR at bedtime and that seems to help. Also, if I wake up during the
night I'll take a regular 25/100 or two to avoid morning cramps.
