POL: Ways to respond to NIH re:stem cell research
This week the NIH(National Institutes of Health) released some guidelines for federally funded scientists who wish to conduct this research These scientists will not be able to conduct this work until the guidelines are finalized. You now have a chance to comment on the guidelines. Comments from the public do influence the direction NIH will take. You are invited to comment on these draft guidelines <>. The deadline of on or before 1/31/2000 is the time frame for written comments. These should be addressed to :Stem Cell Guidelines, NIH Office of Science Policy. 1 Center Drive, Building 1, Rm 218, Bethseda, MD 20892. Comments may also be sent by fax to Stem Cell Guidelines at (301) 402-0280 or by e-mail to: <stemcell@xxxxxxxxxxxx> This is your chance to let NIH know how you feel about the suggested guidelines.
