Re: Help to sleep

Lanier, What about the gloves that hunters sometimes wear that have the
fingertips open so the grip on the gun is secure. Cabelos sporting goods
catalog has these gloves with a hinged mitten cap that can be velcro
fastened open when the wearer needs the use of bare fingertips. Our
daughter wore a pair of these for cold evenings as a flutist in marching
band practices before performances at marching competitions or at football
halftime. She kept her fingers warm under the mitten cap when other band
sections were working on their parts and when she was playing, the cap was
velcro fastened open so she could play her flute ungloved.

This is really true, I have been wearing socks to sleep for ten years, my
hands and feet are always cold, even in the summer time. For daytime
lounging around the house in the winter, I recommend a pair of cotton
socks,
to start, then a pair of L.L.Bean ragg wool socks in addition. Only
trouble
now is that my hands are always cold in the winter and even though I also
have a pair of L.L.Bean ragg wool mittens, I can't see sitting around the
house wearing mittens!
