In addition to an abstract of the British Medical Journal  article pointing
out the increased mortality with Eldepryl, there is an article on the
Parkinson's Web

entitled Deprenyl - a 1994 Update. The article predates that in the BMJ and
includes one line worth mentioning: ".....the addition of selegiline to
levodopa therapy in PD patients also lengthened their lifetime". Seems that
you pick your reading material and make your choices. ;>)  or :>(
