FULL MAILBOX FIX

For those of you who suffer from full mailboxes but wish to receive the
messages for each day on a single document without all the internet address
junk, do the following (it works):

1.  address a new piece of mail to this address -
         LISTSERV@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
      You can make it easy by highlighting the line above and clicking on
"edit" and "copy" on most software. NOTE this is NOT the same as the
address for mail to the group (at least before the @).

2.  Key the line below as the top line of your message:
SET PARKINSN DIGEST
      You need not key more.

3.  Send the Message.

To Change Back......do the above but change "digest" to "MAIL"

In the event of a newsgroup, those who participate will ALSO want to follow
this mailing list, so the full mailbox problem may not go away.  I hope
that the mailbox problem can be solved without lots of us leaving the mail
list.  I would hate to see those who cannot get access to a newsgroup
reader or whose access provider does not provide the new group, or whose
computer is too small to handle the addition of a newsreader, be left with
only a few others with whom to correspond .  We now number 1000 or so, but
we still need to keep in touch as much as possible.   Only some of us are
willing and able to contribute by writing--we are not hearing from those
who only  read what is going on.  I suspect they may be the ones who would
find it difficult to switch.
   So if too many messages is your problem, you might try the digest
option.
