Parkinson-Diabetes Link
Age 64/diagnosed 4 1/2. I was diagnosed at age 40 with Type II diabetes. Diabetes has been successfully diet controlled for these 24 years. Diagnosed Parkinsons shortly before 60th birthday. Paternal grandmother and father's sister both insulin dependent diabetics. Maternal grandmother had Type II diabetes late in life, but was able to control with diet.
