Udall fever sweeps southern California

Mary,
You truly bring tears to my eyes.  As I watched your enthusiasm and
confidence that you could do the job in southern California evolve ,
Deborah's message of the little engine repeating  "I think I can.  I
think I can.  I think I can." comes vividly to mind.  When people
ask how we accomplish so much, it is exactly how you are doing it.
You pick out your goal and begin one step after another towards that
goal.  Pretty soon you look back and say "my God we've done all that"
or even more importantly "we're almost their".  Southern California
is about to  under go the same experience that Carol brought about in
northern California and I in Pennsylvania.  That being the
combination of a bright dedicated person persuing a cause which is
worthy.
