To the group:

I'm trying to find information regarding Asacol (mesalamine) and the side
effects of this medication with respect to PD.  I am already taking this
medication for Crohn's Disease.

Yesterday, the neurologist that I visited for a second opinion on PD said
that mesalamine would reduce the effects of PD.  If anyone has information
regarding this side effect of mesalamine, I would really appreciate your
comments.
