Internet & PD FAQ available

Hi,

For the Internet stand I had at the PDS AGM last weekend, I made up a
document explaining the Internet and answering some Frequently Asked
Questions. Some poeple might find it a a useful start if they have to do

I'll be converting these to a proper web page, but I want to do that when I
do a bunch of other things soon.

On another matter, I am on a large number of mailing lists, a few of which
are low traffic and non-techie :-). Briefly, they are:
        - thoughtful quote of the day
        - a daily message of the News headlines - "The daily brief"
        - Innovation! and EduPage, two techie industry watching newsletters
        - Usenet Ocularities (techie, but funny)
        - Lots of Macintosh & Newton lists

Some of these might help you get more out of your Internet connection. If
you are interested, mail me and I'll send some details (specify which
