Rajesh,  You are about an hour and a half away from the May Clinic in
Rochester, MN.  They are now doing Pallidotomy's and have been trained
by the staff at Emory which many people feel does the best work.  In
addition, Mayo has a worldwide reputation and is set up to handle
people from varied backgrounds.  They have interpreters for most all
languages in residence, which could be of great help to your father.

I can't really speak to your other questions, except that have seen
folks who have had it, but I believe you will receive many first person
answers on the list.  I am sure a call to the Mayo Clinic would provide
