My mother has fallen in the nursing home and broken her hip.  She is in the
hospital awaiting surgery on Thursday, 7/11/96.   I am concerned about drug
interactions.  They are giving her Darvocet for pain.  Will that make her
dementia worse?  She is presently on Sinemet, Sinemet CR, Permax, Amantadine,
and Trazodone. (She also takes Synthroid, Colace and Vitamin E.) What drugs
should I tell them to avoid and what about anesthesia?  Any other
suggestions?
